Limited Parts Warranty

Applies to: PortFi Electric Vehicle Charging Stations sold by PortFi, LLC for commercial uses in the United States and Canada since April 27, 2023

1. Warranty Period: This warranty covers the commercial PortFi Electric Vehicle Charging Station equipment (PortFi EV Charger) for a period of three or five years from the date of delivery. The length of the warranty period is specified in the purchase order, e-commerce product page, and/or accepted customized equipment quote.

2. Coverage: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal use of the "PortFi EV Charger". The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, or under any of the following scenarios. 

   1. Product damage due to failure to follow product service instructions for use, maintenance, and storage. 

   2. Damage or malfunction caused by foreign object entering. 

   3. Unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification. 

   4. Damage caused by force majeure (such as lightning, excessive voltage, earthquake, fire, flood, etc.). 

   5. Malfunctions and damage caused by other unavoidable external factors. 

   6. Malfunctions and damage caused by improper use of equipment, such as water or other solutions entering into the equipment.

   7. Malfunctions and damage caused by the grid power supply and voltage which is not specified for use with the charger equipment

3. Remedy: If the "PortFi EV Charger" is found to be defective during the warranty period, PortFi, LLC will repair or replace the product free of charge (parts only). 

4. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover any damages to other devices or property that may result from the use of the "PortFi EV Charger". The warranty also does not cover any damage caused by installation or use of the product in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty also does not cover any third-party labor involved in replacing or re-installing the "PortFi EV Charger".

5. Warranty Claim: To make a claim under this warranty, the customer must provide proof of purchase and delivery and contact PortFi Support at support@portfi.biz. PortFi, LLC may request additional information or inspection of the product before authorizing any repair or replacement. The customers will be responsible for packaging and shipping the unit from their location to a PortFi service center in the US. 

6. Limitation of Liability: The manufacturer's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the "PortFi EV Charger" equipment. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the product, or any incidental or consequential damages.

7. Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product.
